As a Career Coach and an Adjunct Biology Instructor at Coastal Alabama Community College, I help students achieve their educational and professional goals. I assist high school students with career exploration, enrollment into meaningful dual enrollment courses, academic planning, and higher education literacy. I also teach online, traditional, and hybrid biology courses, using engaging and interactive methods.I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching in Community College Education from Mississippi State University, where I gained valuable knowledge and skills in student development, curriculum design, assessment, and leadership. During my graduate studies, I also worked as a teaching assistant and a research assistant, where I contributed to the characterization of signaling molecule, Wnt Inhibitory Factor-1 (Wif-1), in the deuterostome embryo. I am passionate about higher education and its potential to transform lives and communities. I am always eager to learn new things, collaborate with others, and make a positive impact.
