I'm a native Taiwanese and a seasoned Mandarin-English bilingual U.S. qualified attorney. English has been my primary working language. I have been working as a legal progessional throughout my career so far, which afforded me the opportunity to get involved in issues presented by all walks of life and cultivate the ability to resolve issues encountered in a well-rounded manner.In a nutshell, I graduated from National Taiwan University with a Bachelor of Law degree and thereafter received an LL.M. degree from Tulane University Law School in New Orleans, and a Juris Doctor degree from University of Minnesota Law School. I was licensed to practice law in New York in 1990 before graduation from UMN in 1991, and admitted to Minnesota bar in 1992. I was the VP General Counsel ／head of legal ＆Compliance（Taiwan） for ING Insurance Co. (Taiwan) and VP Foreign Law Specialist for Bank SinoPac in Taiwan before I went into freelancing specialized in general business and international commercial transactions. Having had 20 plus years' practical experience in many areas of law, including corporate, international trade, M&A, joint venture, international trade and commercial transactions, international banking, AML/FCC risk monitoring and auditing; venture capital, derivatives, capital market, U.S. immigration law, and other US law related subjects, such as FCPA, Securities laws.
