I was licensed to practice law in New York in 1990 before graduation from UMN in 1991, and admitted to Minnesota bar in 1992. I was the VP General Counsel /head of legal &Compliance(Taiwan) for ING Insurance Co. (Taiwan) and VP Foreign Law Specialist for Bank SinoPac in Taiwan before I went into freelancing specialized in general business and international commercial transactions. Having had 20 plus years' practical experience in many areas of law, including corporate, international trade, M&A, joint venture, international trade and commercial transactions, international banking, AML/FCC risk monitoring and auditing; venture capital, derivatives, capital market, U.S. immigration law, and other US law related subjects, such as FCPA, Securities laws.
