I was an Economist in the Balance of Payments sub-division and analyse the Financial Account International Investment Position and External Debt. I additionally oversee sub-analyses on the Official Reserves, Bilateral Exchange rates and Trade-weighted indices through a dedicated team.In preparation for the June 2017 Quarterly Bulletin, I effectively led my team through Namibia's maiden BPM6 analysis and detailed statistical data presentation. A dedicated contribution towards a broader regional and global consensus.
My career at BoN started off in the policy division which was oriented on public finance research in Namibia and fiscal policy issues. My work had a high degree of influencing government policy over the long term.I had been part of the team involved in a high level policy project which since culminated into one of Namibia's developmental policies.
