With a fascination for problem solving and decision making, a career in the dynamic and perpetually relevant world of business excites me. I nurtured my interest through studying Business Studies at GSCE and progressed my expertise's in Business Studies at A Levels, in which my enthusiasm for the subject has grown into a passion. I now view the world through a business perspective, which is key in today’s modern commercialised society. My business acumen is complimented by the skills I have learnt studying English Literature and History at A Level, such as critical thinking, analysis and evaluation. I am looking forward to the further challenge of deepening not only my knowledge, but my potential whilst studying Internatinal Business at University.As part of my professional development and acedemic journey, I have completed multiple LinkedIn learning courses which has developed my skill set and been awarded the Professional Soft Skills Learning Pathway certificate. I have also completed the Capfinity Strengths Profile, which helped me asses my individual strengths and weaknesses across four domains: realised and unrealised strengths, learndef behaviours and weaknesses. This has been useful as I have been able to reflet on this and focus on improving my weaknesses.I have first-hand experience of running a company through my participation in the Young Enterprise program, where I was elected the role of Marketing Director. I was able to put the classroom theory into practice, such as segmenting our target audience and designing a product, price, and promotion to attract customers. Additionally, I received valuable training from professionals in the industry through marketing sessions at a large, retailer Beaumont Leys Shopping Centre. Our ability to problem solve and show resilience in challenging situations was recognised through winning the Young Enterprise Teamwork Award for our county.
