Graduated TCC with a A.A. in General Studies at the end of 2021, I currently am enrolled in the Honors College at The University of North Texas pursuing my bachelors degree in Nonprofit leadership studies after working in an internship with the USDA and U.S. Forest Service as an OHV/Recreation Management intern at the Sequoia National Forest in Southern California to help with conservation & recreation projects in the Western Divide Ranger District.Now having over 1000+ hours of federal conservation projects under my belt, I have certifications in adult first aid/CPR and licenses in chainsaw certifications in bucking class B. I am licensed to drive ATV's, UTV's, and certified for driving gov't vehicles and hauling trailers. Using my years of experience working in the trades such as a woodworker in California and my years as a utility foreman to help myself to garner these certifications within this Federal job field and agency, along with the hours worked on federal land for my Public Land Corps (PLC) noncompetitive hiring authority within the U.S. Forest Service, I intend to pursue future federal positions within the Dept. of the Interior, where I currently work in a Admin Support Role working out of the Fillmore Field Office in Utah for the Bureau of Land Management.
