About Dakota Jones

I have just completed a Master’s in Communications with a concentration in New Media and Marketing.In 2018 I earned a Bachelor's in psychology through SNHU. Since then, I have worked in a few different atmospheres. This includes a group home for a adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses (supporting with activities of daily living, community outreach, and medication support), working at a day program through NFI North (Transitional Housing Services), and working briefly as a case manager at The Coalition for Homelessness in Concord, NH.I find advocacy to be an important part of who I am. As I grow, and evolve, I find that advocacy, for all types of populations has become of a lot more of who I am and who I want to continue to be!Going forward, I am looking to transition professionally from the mental health field into something revolving communications, marketing, or similar opportunities!Dream Goal: speaking on a Tedx stage.
