Who is Dakota? I'm a free-thinking, innovative, fearless go-getter. Born and raised in Houston TX, I started my musical/artistic journey in NYC in 2011. The Big Apple opened a whole universe for me: from audio engineering smaller theatrical productions to producing podcasts....and I'm awaiting my next adventure! My skills include audio engineering, live sound, music production, podcasting, and DJing. I've had the pleasure of being trained by music industry professionals and look forward to more opportunities to expand my network and knowledge base. New challenges and experiences are my primary objectives. Next on the menu: I'm developing my own specialty podcast around current events and relationships, as well as, producing intimate musical productions in local venues. I am also looking forward to mixing and mastering audiobooks, other peoples podcasts, and even bigger theatrical shows (Broadway...here I come!) In a perfect world, I'll be an integral part of the production team for an up and coming (or established) performer.
