Independently and under the supervision of my mentor, I work within an interdisciplinary BHIP team, providing recovery-oriented, Veteran-centered clinical care. I conduct medication evaluations, psychosocial assessments, and establish treatment plans. I order and interpret lab tests, prescribe medications, and serve as a consultant to other residents. I manage Veterans with different psychiatric conditions, including chronic suicidal and/or homicidality. I collect data, perform procedures, and coordinate patient care. I document encounters in the VA electronic medical record. I also complete specialty rotations, present case studies, attend seminars, and engage in quality improvement projects. Throughout my residency program, I undergo quarterly evaluations.Residency program is from August 2023 to August 2024
