• Oversees all inventory control and materials management for depot level maintenance programs and operations for the F-22 Raptor through the Facilitate Other Maintenance (FOM program).• Leads process improvement initiatives, regularly contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and material management support. • Coaches employees on Defense Logistics Agency processes/ systems and inventory management principles. • Trains subordinates on F-22 FOM training workbook/ guidelines and certifies that knowledge displayed on processes is acceptable for working conditions.• Responsible for subordinates inventory audits, inventory tagging, and all proper storage of aircraft parts to ensure parts are properly tagged and logged into Material Status Report/ tracking sheets.• Successfully manages 8 employees on 3 different shifts in efforts to optimize the air forces inventory management system and reduce costs from lost parts.• Directs all inventory management procedures of the FOM team on a day to day basis by coaching all employees on receiving and storing inventory to keep accurate inventory count and accuracy of part number/ serial numbers.• Assists the overall Weapon System Support Center (WSSC) scheduling effort by monitoring inventory levels and generating inventory reports based on data entry from inventory management counts. • Analyzes inventory levels, parts on order and recommends any appropriate actions to minimize loss, reduce inventory, and/or increase inventory turnover that would support inventory level objectives.• Applies continuous inventory management improvement techniques and methods to internal processes and systems to increase efficiency in maintaining records and reports pertaining to tracking of material through aircraft gate changes.• Provides status report/ insight on inventory levels from the master production schedule (MPS) to schedulers/ planners working cross functionally to support the mission.

• Collaborates with supervisors, production staff, and schedulers to distribute workload appropriately in Title 14 part 145 regulated repair station.• Contributed new ideas to the production line to help hit key performance indicators (KPIs) to stay ahead of goal each month.• Contributes to lean processes by identifying ways to eliminate waste and create more value for the customer on continuous basis.• Uses strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals and policies to recommend changes to procedures.• Uses Manufacturing Execution System (Solumina) to record and report problems with production units.• Helped implement production line changes to identify and quickly resolve root cause issues bottlenecking production levels.• Uses acceptance test procedures (ATP), component maintenance manuals (CMM), blueprints, and any other work instructions called out by manufacturing engineer to build/ test hydraulic actuators.

Uses teamwork to load retardant/water into aircraft such as C-130, P-3, P-2V, BAE-86, JR-85, DC-10, MD-80, and S.E.A.T. (single engine air tanker).•Assists in effectively supervising, directing, evaluating and motivating personnel in performing complex loading procedures.•Leads in mixing and testing of all fire retardant through ICL liquid and powder mix systems under base manager direction.•Ensures daily work functions are compliant with OSHA and CALOSHA requirements, and any additional agency-specific regulations.•Maintains work control documents to ensure safe/ timely completion of aircraft operations and planning documents.•Communicates effectively with the pilot and ground tender throughout the process of loading the aircraft.•Responsible for material/ inventory of all stock of retardant. Ensures proper storage and inventory of retardant in storage areas.•Performs daily F.O.D (foreign object debris) checks on fuel trucks entering taxiway. •Maintain guidelines, and procedures while promoting safe work area practice.•Ensures the fire-retardant mixing facilities and equipment are in operational condition and inspects mixing and storage areas are clean, safe and free of obstructions through inventory and monitoring stock.
