When I was 13, I decided that I didn't want to be like the rest of the girls. I was drawn to the world of racing and wanted nothing more than to show the world women could race to. Learning to drive a stick shift was the easiest obstacle I would face in my racing career. What proved to be the hardest was being a female in a male dominate sport. Many times I thought about giving up my dream and each time I would persevere. Nine years later I was one of the top females racing on the Lucas Oil ASCS Warrior Sprint Car Dirt Series. Racing helped me gain experience no school could ever teach.- I learned how to market myself to gain sponsorship.- Speaking in front of crowds of thousands became second nature. - Radio and TV interviews were common.- Public Relations - Most importantly setting an example for other women who follow in my footsteps. Now, I put all that perseverance and drive into my studies as a Marketing student at Northwest Missouri State University and at my job as Manager of Acceptance Now. I am very competent in relationship management, sales, collections, advertising, social media marketing, revenue growth, and account management. I love meeting new professionals.
