My first job ever was helping out at my mom’s breakfast diner, which means that since day one I have been working with people and providing customer service. That’s not the only thing I had to do while helping my mom out though. I was cooking pancakes, making sure the coffee pot was fresh, clearing tables, chatting with patrons, cleaning dishes, and so on. While 13 year old little me might not have been the greatest at those things, that breakfast diner really laid down the strongest foundations for all the work and experience I have now, and was the first step in my career that has paid dividends for me professionally. Since those diner days, I have worn a number of different hats in my career and they have all contributed, in their unique ways, to forming the successful and hard working individual I am today. Managing several projects at once is second nature to me, adapting to new systems and learning new technology comes quickly, overseeing launch dates and go-lives for customer’s products is what I live for. I can attribute these qualities of mine to all the various roles I’ve undertaken, and especially to the younger version of myself scrambling around at the diner.In my current role at Catertrax, I am able to leverage all of that previous experience, and it produces successful and rewarding results.
