About Dakota Murphy

I enthusiastically embrace complex problems and have a passion for learning new things. I have a wide range of skills mostly focused around computer science, software engineering, full stack development, programming languages, data science, and mathematics with a professional background that has applied them in practice. I love working in functional programming languages and I am especially attracted to Ocaml. I am a UCF Knight who studied Mathematics and Physics. I got into software engineering through building an online marketplace I Co-founded, BriskSale.com. I have enthusiastically put in a lot of time and effort to gain the knowledge and experience necessary to architect and work on complex applications that involve the coordination of many different services from the ground up. My main interest revolve around Machine Learning, functional programming languages, and building complex systems that have quantifiable guarantees about integrity, scalability, performance, and the flexibility to evolve overtime.
