Hi! My name is Dakota. I'm from Summerville, PA. I'm a big fan of the outdoors and I enjoy hunting and fishing. Also even though I'm not a dad, I really enjoy a good dad joke. I graduated from Penn State in 2016 with a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and I have been working as a Manufacturing Engineer ever since.I am very passionate with Solidworks and I currently have my CSWA and CSWP certifications. I find it fascinating that there are thousands of different ways to perform the same task in Solidworks and I like finding the fastest and most efficient ways to model. I also enjoy spreading my knowledge to anyone willing to listen. Recently I have been responsible with training the new guys and I really take pride in that. In terms of the manufacturing process, I've been involved in multiple phases. I have experience in print reviews for manufacturability, fabrication processes, tooling and fixture design, CNC setup and programming, quality control standards, and production implementation. Most of my programming experience has been with 3 and 4 axis mills, but I would love to learn 5 axis programming as well as turning. I also have experience with FARO's laser projector and press brake machine programming. So that's just a quick summary of me. Just remember, "If life gives you melons, then you might be dyslexic." :)
