The Operations Manager role is What Directline calls a Project Manager at non-construction sites. The responsibilities of this role are very similar to a PM. All Project management responsibilities like time/$/resource management, but also Operations management like disciplinary actions, hiring, and internal company margin management. I work very closely with all cross-functional teams: HR, Safety, QAQC, Payroll, Shipping/Receiving, Building management.• Create highly accurate annual forecasts and track labor and materials against it. This includes managing the labor resources to make sure we stay within tolerances. Also using this information for reporting purposes to clients and venders. • Work closely with Safety Managers and QA/QC Technicians to make sure we are communicating with site leadership and adhere to the global standards set for all data centers.
