About Dakshina Dasari

Dr. Dakshina Dasari is a researcher based at the Corporate Research Center of Robert Bosch GmbH in Renningen. She obtained her Ph.D. degree in 2014 from the Research Centre in Embedded Systems at the University of Porto, focusing on timing analysis of real-time embedded systems on multi-cores. Her research interests span various aspects of distributed embedded systems, including predictable execution and freedom from interference in vehicle integration platforms based on heterogeneous SoCs, Edge-Cloud Orchestration and offloading timing-sensitive applications to the cloud, performance analysis, design, modeling, and implementation of real-time systems.Currently, her primary focus lies in designing a framework for predictable execution of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) applications in the industrial automation domain. This framework addresses the unique challenges posed by CPS applications in industrial settings, aiming to ensure reliability and efficiency in their operation.Before pursuing her Ph.D., Dr. Dasari accrued approximately 5 years of experience in networking roles with prominent companies such as Sun Microsystems, Vegayan Systems, and Citrix Systems in India. Despite her transition to industry, she has remained connected to the academic sphere, actively fostering collaborations between industry and academia, mentoring students, and contributing to the technical program committees of numerous real-time system conferences.
