He was on a 3 month internship in Warbud (Vinci Group) after which he was hired in my geotechnical team for the next 5 months. I was the supervisor of his Bachelor's thesis that we worked on for over 6 months. During the period we worked together, he learned the rules for designing diaphragm walls, deep foundations and especially piles and piled raft foundations. Tomasz, PhD Bukowski and me, we developed an innovative method for the calculation of a piles group bearing capacity. He conducted design studies and optimization of foundations for all types of structures based on standards and technical guidelines. His work required great commitment and precision. Tomasz Daktera is an ambitious person who achieves his objectives, and who applies himself fully in the implementation of tasks assigned to him. Open-minded, he works easily both in a team or individually, with motivation and professionalism. I firmly believe in his proficient knowledge in the field of geotechnical engineering.
