Responsible for the installation, maintenance and upgrading of the County’s Peoplesoft HCM and Financials environments. This includes major upgrades, updates and fixes and patches for PeopleTools as well as the Peoplesoft Applications. I also assist with developing/programming and troubleshooting Peoplesoft.Responsible for all of the County’s SQL Server and Oracle databases including Peoplesoft (HRMS, Finance and Portal), VisionAIR (911) and NCPTS (Tax). This includes availability, integrity, recoverability, security and performance of these databases.Responsible for the County’s 250+ virtual servers and the VMware vSphere Infrastructure running 18 ESXi 5.0 servers on HP BL490 blades in 2 datacenters, production and DR. Duties include recommending, installation of hardware and software, maintaining and upgrading these blade servers as well as provisioning, maintaining and upgrading the virtual servers. Duties also include backing up and restoring these virtual servers using EMC Avamar.Responsible for County’s 2 EMC VNX 5500 SANs and 1 EMC VNXe 3150 SANs, one each at our production and DR sites. Duties include recommending and installation of SANs, Carving and assigning LUNS to ESX hosts, migrating LUNS to different storage groups for performance, and replication from the production arrays to the DR arrays (RecoverPoint for VNX 5500).
