Strategic Planning and Transformation is my key focus area to provide the fundamentals of the Workplace/ Workspace Strategy & Journey by staying focused on collaboration, innovation and customer requirements. I am responsible for the full Hardware Strategy and represent Commodity Owner Workspace by asset planning the global HW fleet of all Credit Suisse Locations globally in all locations, whereby taking into account BAU as well as strategic planning of CAPEX on a yearly basis in order to manage the global product catalogue. As strategy and architecture our team is driving roadmap for all workspace related products, be it the iDesktop Windows Build that runs on all our asset classes , physical as well as virtual, all Core Applications, M365, Edge , Adobe etc. Enterprise Systems Mgmt. with Microsoft SCCM, Intune and Configuration Manager , whereby also providing our AppOwners an Interface AppBox for automatic self packaging of our application portfolio 2500-3000 apps. Our Thin Clients run on an Ubuntu Linux Version with Igel and we have also remote access with VPN for Laptops and with Netscaler and Citrix for our BYOD estate.In a rapid changing world, we challenge continuously status quo, drive innovations and disrupt in order not to be disrupted. Foster innovative, state-of-the art security enhancements, stick to compliance and diligence. whether we deliver Workplace / Workspace Services into our worldwide over 500 offices in over 65 countries for over 72k Endpoints with various Asset flavors (Desktops, Laptops, Virtual Machines) or by using BYOD .In order to constantly improve our IT estate and products, to achieve our strategic goals or eliminate technical debt I am responsible to get every year the Funding CTB Change the Bank money by selling the High Level Business Cases to key stakeholders showing them to be able to create Business Value for the bank by executing our strategic Roadmap that benefits all stakeholders and End Users.

Global Head of Desktop Services running Global Desktop Product Management for Credit Suisse with a Team of Product Managers. Responsible for the Product Strategy of Desktops, Laptops, VDI, Thin Clients, Endpoint Systems Management (Marimba BLCA and SCCM), all Desktop Security Products and Smart Card PKI which are used in all Credit Suisse Locations and countries. Managing Global TCO, Service Management Strategy, Global HW CAPEX Budget as well as the Global Release Management of the Client Build iDesktop used by all Asset Classes including VDI containing Microsoft Windows 7, 64 bit , Office 2010 and IE11. Since 2016 embedded in a new Global Program called NextGen iDesktop Windows 10 & Cloud as Product Strategy Owner that will transform the full Desktop & VDI environment from Windows 7 to Windows 10, whereas VDIaaS, Azure with Office 365, Evergreen Concept with Cloud and DaaS are part of the Strategy.

After 3 years of establishing the Desktop Product Management Function in parallell to the iDesktop Product Manager role within the iDesktop Program year 2011 and 2012 was and is focused on shaping and fine-tuning in stages the Product Catalogue for our Desktop Products and the Desktop Service, whereby further strengthening the Desktop Product Management disciplin by marketing our Roadmaps, working on transparent TCO and charge back calculations, establishing global Requirements and Release processes and agreeing SLA/OLA with the business that are using our new global platform. Consolidation and increasing the level of maturity of the desktop service and all related IT Internal Products remains the key focus during the further transformation of the new iDesktop Platform into BAU,

Global iDesktop Product Manager embedded into the Program Management team of this Platin Program that aimed to converge all Credit Suisse owned asset (IB ,PB, AM and CorpSystem) into a new globla iDesktop Build / Platform. 85000 Desktop, 19000 Laptops, 11000 VM,s, converging Windows XP to Windows 7 64 Bit , Office 2003 to 2010, and IE6 to IE8, whereby introducing OCS 2007,Smart Card and Appsense within 550 locations in 65 countries. Additionally introducing a new global Client Systems Management with BladeLogic Marimba for Software Distribution (Desktop/Laptop/VDI Build and Applications) with totally 5300 applications to be migrated as well.

I was Global Head of Citrix Engineering for Credit Suisse Group, which consisted out of 2 major Business Units ( Credit Suisse First Boston and Credit Suisse Privat Bank). In that role I had initiated the Project oneCitrix & CDE , which targeted to converge the 2 available different Citrix Server Builds (OMNI and BBSW). With the add-on CDE (Citrix Desktop Virtualization) I have introduced a viable alternative against the VDI (Virtual Desktop Solution). Then, almost the full year 2008 I have spent to introduce into Credit Suisse globally 4 major Hub-Sites hosting Virtual Desktops VMWARE on ESX 3/3.5. counting up to 7000 Virtual Desktops, whereby utilizing a home grown Virtual Machine Provisioning System called VMPS, which had now been spinned off as an IPO into a new firm called Dynamic Ops. Under the name Dynamic Ops a follower Product was released called VRM (Virtual Resource Manager), which is going to be the standard within Credit Suisse for VDI. It supports NetApp, XenDesktop, Citrix Provisioning Server and many more user friendly management tools by Web and detailed reporting possibilities. In August 2008 I have handed over VDI to global VDI operations managed at this time by Sean Manahan. I had been VDI Product Manager afterwards , until I got called into a major Reorganisation, where I had given to Sean my Product Management function and started to be the Desktop Product Manager within one of the largest Program within Credit Suisse called iDesktop.
