As a thorough and accurate engineering leader, I bring extensive leadership experience in manufacturing from well-known window and door manufacturing organizations.I developed my problem solving skills and mechanical aptitude early in life growing up on a family farm. When something broke, I learned how to fix it. If I didn't have the parts, I figured out what else would work. I leveraged these skills throughout college while by working summer jobs in the wood manufacturing and processing companies as well as paper mills and as a logger. Living in Central Wisconsin, I was surrounded by several well-known window and door and paper manufacturing companies.As I came to solidify my college major, industrial design was the perfect combination of my mechanical aptitude and artistic creativity.⚙ PRODUCT ENGINEERING & DESIGN – Redesigned, developed, and tested new residential entry door system to certify doors to meet hurricane standards and specifications, increasing Weather Shield’s competitive market share in the coastal region.⚙ ACQUISITION INTEGRATION – Drove acquisition integration and consolidated Peachtree Windows engineering department into the Weather Shield Family Brands engineering department, achieved continuity and harmony during and after the merger.⚙ LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT – Led site production worker product training and Corrective Action Program (CAP) to support a significant ramp up in manufacturing production staff.⚙ SYSTEM CONVERSION AND MIGRATION – Led reorganization of product and brand identification, manufacturing rules, bill of materials, and part numbers to prepare for successful Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) conversion.
