Project Managed the implementation phase of the conversion of circa 13,000 vehicles worldwide from the old analogue communications systems to the new digital communications system, Bowman, over a 6 year time span. Effected the initial delivery into service of capital assets with a total value of £1.5bn, within the overall £2.6bn Bowman conversion project.Project Manager for the development of toolsets required to conduct technical uplift of Bowman systems.Planned and executed, in conjunction with General Dynamics (UK) and the end user, the successful worldwide implementation of a technical upgrade of Bowman, a mix of hardware and software enhancements touching in excess of 120,000 items.Coordinator of a globally tasked team of up to 33 interface coordinators based in 5 countries worldwide; Canada; Including the management of their career development; analysing performance, advising on training needs, appraisals and KPIs.Initiated and maintained the full data capture and configuration management of those 13,000 vehicles converted to Bowman and the subsequent upgrade of 120,000 elements of the system, including directing the development of bespoke databases.Created, evolved and maintained the processes required to manage the tasks in both the initial conversion and the subsequent upgrade of the Bowman system. This involved consultation at varying levels with both Government and non-government organisations to ensure all inclusive solutions. Developed mid-project review of Bowman upgrade processes resulting in a much improved and simplified process for the end user and a 33% saving against expected levels.Established and maintained harmonious relationships with the prime contractor and the end users to facilitate the overall process.Provided strategic guidance as the Presiding Member, in both a functional and standards sense, to exclusive senior ranks Mess including the management of events teams, budgetary overview and committee responsibilities.

Deployed a large scale (qty 150 personnel), multi-functional maintenance organisation from UK to an international arena and established an effective, efficient support system to MoD units on peace keeping duty.Coordination of all technical engineering productive activity through management of a multi-disciplined team of skilled engineers, providing technical support to a wide variety of armoured and wheeled vehicles, electronic and weapon systems in a high tempo, operationally focused environment.
