Maintain and install plastics recycling machinery such as granulators, Bailers, Guilotines, conveyors, EREMA compounding lines, Vecoplan shredders and various other types of machines carrying out planned and reactive maintenance whilst maintaing minimal down time.Whilst at Preston Plastics I have undertaken the installation of >New compounding line from EREMA which is the largest and first of its type in Europe>Vecoplan & zerma shredders.

Electrically and mechanically maintaining theme park rides, carrying out inspections day to day, undertaking repairs and fault finding to ensure the safe operation of all types of machinery and electrical systems.Working within a workshop environment on my own initiative or as part of a team maintaining spare parts, stripping down and rebuilding ride carriges after inspections had been carried out, ensuring all specifications/guidlines were followed and met.whilst inspecting any ride carriages or track area i would look for further areas for improvement and bring it to the attention of my superiors were i thought improvements could be made, or extra safety methods could be deployed.When the park closed down i was involved in electrically decommissioning and stripping down the rides working closely with other engineering groups and maintenance teams prepairing rides for shipping to there new facilities.
