- Create an optimized weekly factory schedule utilizing Blue Yonder (JDA), SAP and APO in collaboration with Operations Planning, Plant Logistics, R&D and Manufacturing departments. - Manage the weekly planning board in APO and SAP creating optimized schedules and advising other departments schedule allowances and constraints. - Using BY, manage the production calendar by updating maintenance events, production shut-downs, resource availability and miscellaneous events to appropriately reflect available line hours for Operations Planning. - Make schedule adjustments in APO and SAP based on changing conditions within the manufacturing pipeline and daily requirements. - Work closely with Manufacturing to develop an extensive familiarity with the company’s workforce and equipment capabilities, productivity trends and constraints. • Utilizing SAP, Microsoft Excel and Tesi Square plan and order weekly call off items needed for production, as well as ancillary machine restock items. • Escalate weekly production capacity and schedule constraints to the Plant Logistics Manager and Operations Planner. - Track OTIF against select Suppliers and report to the Procurement team on a quarterly basis. - Work closely with the Inventory Controls Specialist to ensure continuity of the production schedule by escalating at risk packaging and raw materials.- Support Manufacturing with product sequencing, staffing resource allocation and plant optimization projects. - Work closely with Operations Planner to confirm requirements and react quicky to any new needs of the business. - Work with Continuous Improvement and Manufacturing teams to implement lean processes. - Lend factory and planning expertise to support new product launches. - Prepare Manufacturing and Logistics Planning KPIs and other reports as needed and required. - Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

- Optimize the use of resources on the factory floor to meet the targets of safety, quality, efficiency, GMPs, organic certification and behaviors on shift.- Provide technical assistance and help out on the floor as required to make sure operations run smoothly.- Have the “finger on the pulse” of your shift. Bring up training requirements and perform them when appropriate. Work closely with your Operations Shift Manager to ensure people matters are being dealt with, engagement improves on shift, and the overall business objectives are met.- Plan ahead: work with other Shift Leads, production planning and maintenance to anticipate and prepare for changeovers, make sure the packaging machines never run out of coffee and that the production schedule is followed.- Coordinate the information flow while we convert raw materials into finished goods – backflush, hold notices, quality issues resolution. Make sure the right information ends up in the proper hands.- Liaise with the other Shift Leads to ensure consistency of SOPs across shifts.- Apply Continuous Improvement methods to make sure the factory performs better every day.- Be an advocate for the business in all circumstances, champion our Drinks culture of Passion for Drinks, Business ownership and Customer centricity.SKILL & ABILITIES: - Ability to continuously learn and apply new methods and techniques is essential. - Lead projects aimed at improving the safety, quality, and productivity of utilizing Lean Manufacturing methods. - Communicate with facilitator or operator from previous shift to determine production run and machine performance. Conduct area inspection with regards to 5S standards, and accurately fill out logbooks.- Operate packaging line at optimal level, including monitoring scrap levels, and continuously seek out opportunities to minimize downtime and product quality defects. - Perform the established clean down and changeover standard operating procedures with an eye towards improving the process without jeopardizing it. Accurately fill out charts and paperwork for changeovers to subsequent shifts.- Perform product quality testing and accurately fill out Statistical Process Control charts. Must have a working knowledge and ability to find procedures and data in computer systems.- Perform operator-level preventive maintenance and assist facilitator and maintenance technician as required. - Commit to supporting continuous improvement activities and bring creative, innovative ideas to the table. - Ability to make decisions concerning quality, safety and performance of machines and equipment.- An understanding of mechanical machine operation utilizing quality monitoring and corrective action.
