Established the focus and direction for the Finance, Credit, Accounting, Legal, Information Technology and Human Resources departments. Provided overall business leadership to other business practice areas, including the Parts and Warehousing operations. • Led the analysis, negotiation and presentation to source equity capital and options to grow the business.• Led and implemented the EOS Operating system across the entire company (i.e. process for the development of a strategic planning, vision, values, expectations). • Collaborated with the CEO to develop performance, selection and incentives compensation expectations.• Changed business processes for supporting the equipment sales organization, including the Customer Satisfaction feedback loop (CSI) and Market Share Management.• Drove the conversion to an INFOR cloud based ERP (eXtend ERP) system, as well, as MS CRM to replace a legacy AS400, including the SD WAN Upgrade for cloud capabilities at seven locations.• Created the quarterly board of directors meeting and review process.• Solidified banking relationships while negotiating and completing multiple finance and credit agreements(>$50MM).• Revamped the financial reporting and accounting processes, resulting in increased integrity, timing and effectiveness.

• Set-up staff and restructure finance operations for a 300 person, $300 million ammonia pipeline, terminal, production and fertilizer trading group of companies in the Midwest and Gulf Coast regions.• Selected, reassigned, developed and managed personnel including Assistant Controller, Controller of Koch Milling, Plant Controller, and Accounting Supervisors for a finance organization with 20 resources.• Implemented a new business system which eliminated the mainframe, reduced financial reporting by 11 work days, decreased systems costs $400,000/year; and decreased staff levels 40%.• Initiated the consolidation of all financial and trading operations within the Koch Agriculture Group to reduce costs and improve effectiveness.• Developed new financial reporting process which incorporated value chain analysis, improved measurability and accountability for profits.• Created a new accounts receivable collections strategy which improved past due accounts from an average of $6 million to $1 million.• Led financial analysis preparation to sell selected assets in preparation for lower industry margins.• Led all financial aspects for a $100 million cattle business including cattle feed yards, ranches and commodity trading operations in Kansas, Texas and Montana. • Completed financial due diligence and integration of a $6 million Texas feed yard acquisition.• Changed the financial systems and resources for a $70 million sulfuric acid production, marketing, distribution and sulfur trading company in North Carolina, Minnesota, Kansas, Wyoming and Oklahoma. • Selected, developed, and directed a staff of 10 following a $15 million multi-state acquisition.• Implemented activity-based accounting and developed new internal market reporting systems which enhanced integrity in accounting of profitability.
