Prior to joining Advanced Corporate Networking (ACN), Dale worked in sales and marketing positions in the Information Technology and Telecommunications industries including, Philips Electronics N.V., SNET and UB Networks. Since 1997, ACN and its managed services division, Digital BackOffice, have worked extensively with educators, public and private schools in all aspects of information technology infrastructure. The management team is especially proud of several groundbreaking public sector projects including the Learning Corridor magnet schools in 2000, the City of Norwalk managed optical wide area Ethernet network in 2004, and the seven year partnership with the Ct. RESC Alliance licensing Microsoft software products to 42 school districts.As schools have procured and assimilated electronic communication and collaboration systems, the ACN/Digital BackOffice team has transferred knowledge and best practices from the private sector with best of breed products such as Microsoft Exchange, 8e6 Filters, and Mimosa Systems. The team has extensive experience with hardware configurations, operations and system integration of E-Mail systems locally or as a hosted service. Archiving, recovery and storage are important considerations with any critical software application but legal discovery law has compelled adoption of best practices for electronic communications.
