Provided independent assessment of the overall effectiveness of the model risk management framework across Wells Fargo to ensure that it was comprehensive, rigorous, and effective for both individual models and in the aggregate. Verified that acceptable model risk policies and procedures were in place in accordance with regulatory guidelines, and tested that model owners and control groups complied with those policies and procedures. Provided independent assurance and advisory services to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes for compliance with Basel II.

Investigated defaulted customers from an acquired bank to supply modeling details. Researched over 100 boxes of physical documentation as well as online documentation. Calculated LTV when necessary.
