Currently responsible for strategic standards management, a function that interacts with external standards development organizations, and establishes the corporate presence at these organizations. Ultimate goal is to create standards that benefit the industry and the corporation which ultimately benefit the client and patients. Elected to third term to NCPDP Board of Trustees beginning May 2012. Previousy served on the board of trustees for NCPDP (2004 - 2007, 2009-2011), and as board Chair in 2010.Previously, he has served as Vice President & Chief Technology Officer for Express Scripts. Under that role, he was responsible for the architecture development process and selection of key technologies for use at Express Scripts. He also participated in the formation of RxHub, as a foundational architect. He also played a key leadership role in the development of the IS Strategic Plan.Prior to becoming CTO, he had responsibility for the application development teams, including the formation of an object oriented development team responsible for middleware development, and established an EAI solution that was leveraged for many of the key acquisitions made by Express Scripts.Specialties: Strategic Planning, enterprise architecture, managing software development teams, leadership positions in standards development organizations
