When RMLS™ was formed the founders wanted the multiple listing service to be subscriber-driven and governed by representatives from within the subscriber base. RMLS™ is still structured that way today, with a 16-member Board of Directors formed from REALTOR® subscribers representing our current three shareholders (Portland Metro, East Metro, and Clark County Associations of REALTORS®) and the Service Advisory Committee (SAC).

“It shall be the purpose of the RMLS™ Technology Committee to review software & services of potential use to the RMLS™ membership and recommend to the Board of Directors those products that are compatible with RMLS™ systems, provide a solution to a need found in the membership and do not create an unreasonable drain on RMLS™ support systems. The Technology Committee will also act as a Quality Assurance resource for evaluating enhancements and member-requested improvements to the RMLSweb system.”

He also spent 8 years working in the Clark County Department of Assessment & GIS in the Land Records Department. Served as the President for WA REALTORS® in 2019. In addition to my volunteer role with the association, my day to day FULL time job is still helping those who are looking to buy and sell real estate in the Clark County area.

To advise and recommend to the Board of Directors policy matters related to NAR?s consumer advertising and consumer outreach in support of the REALTOR® brand in both residential and commercial real estate. Identify opportunities to enhance and extend NAR?s consumer outreach for the direct benefit of members, and, in consultation with NAR?s advertising agencies and staff, recommend related strategies and creative direction to the Leadership Team.

To provide strategic direction regarding social media activities; to provide guidance and suggestions to the Member Communications Committee regarding new programs, coalitions and partnerships that will position the National Association REALTORS® as leaders and experts on real estate information in the social media space; and to advise and inform membership on usage of and trends in social media.

To provide member input into the program development and promotion of Association meetings and conferences to present innovative programming and exciting events for REALTORS® that encourage participation by brokers and agents, both seasoned and new to the industry. To determine policies that ensure continuity of standards of professional excellence and the integrity of the Association in the hospitality industry.

The Communications Committee oversees internal and external communications efforts by CCAR. The goal of the committee is to unify the Board of Directors, its committees and/or staff and any forums, or task forces to speak with one voice strengthening our ultimate goal to become the "voice of Real Estate" in Clark County. The committee chair is appointed by the CCAR President.

Primary role of the Education Committee is to provide the members with means for training and education.

As a Land Records Technician I was responsible for any updates to the county mapping systems. I worked with the public, assessor staff and planning staff to determine legal lot status on a variety of land uses. I became the resident expert in researching lot histories and determining what type of "platting" options were available. This experience has allowed me an education and understanding of the inner workings of the County government systems that I can in turn pass on to my clients.

At Chicago Title I worked in the field as a sales representative. I was the liaison between the Realtors and Lenders and Chicago Title. I performed sales history searches and also learned how to read and draft legal descriptions. I was responsible for bringing new accounts into our organization.

Functioned as a liaison between the advertising sales staff and the community advertisers.
