Aug 2003 - Mar 2007Managed and designed mechanical and plumbing projects for various buildings at The Air Force Academy’s Falcon Stadium, Mitchell Hall, Vandenberg Hall, Sijan Hall, Fairchild Hall, Physical Education Building, Hospital Building, Officers Club and Cadet Chapel.Created the Findings and Recommendation Reports for the Air Force Academy. These reports included a design analysis section for mechanical and plumbing that incorporated a life cycle cost analysis that compared three different opinions on the replacement of their current systems. The design analysis compared initial installed expense, cost to operate over the equipments useful life and return on investment. System comparisons were done using spread sheets and energy analysis programs such as DOE-2.Managed the process of mechanical and plumbing design submittals to produce a final set of construction drawings, specifications, and Findings and Recommendation Report that included a design analysis, cost estimates and calculations.Project designed with teams of mechanical and plumbing: Air Force Academy base wide high temp hot water project, Shell Olefins refinery control building in Louisiana, Weld County Prison and Colorado State Penitentiary super maximum security prison in Canon City.

The existing chilled water systems were incorporated in to the district cooling loop via heat exchangers that had to be retrofitted into the existing cooling plants of each building and piped into both the existing system and the district cooling loop.Project designed with teams for mechanical and plumbing: Vail Valley Medical Center, Weld County School Districts, Tenant finish projects and Snowmass condominiums in Aspen.
