I've had the opportunity to work in a number of exciting technical fields over the years and have a vast amount of experience in several areas. I was a proud member of the United States Air Force and served honorably for seven years active duty and in the reserves. After separating from the Air Force I worked on the forward bay compartments of the Space Shuttles as a Systems Engineer at Kennedy Space Center in Titusville, Florida. I've held several Secret Security clearances while working at this job. I've enjoyed an exciting career in the private sector as well and have experience with an array of technologies. In the field of network engineering I worked at companies like Motorola and 3Com on high speed data and Voice-Over-IP products. These were companies who were early adopters of this technology and I succeeded in leveraging my analytical and technical skills as a valued member. I’m a team player and thrive in working with peers on complex projects to its completion. I interact well with internal and external customers to deliver high quality products. My strengths lie in my ability to analyze and solve problems. I'm focused and detailed oriented and typically meet dates without compromising quality. I strive to be better each day by working smart and efficiently and staying abreast of the latest technologies and tools. I'm committed to process improvement specifically in areas of testing by logging and reporting issues in a timely manner. And using metrics to track the overall quality of the product during the test cycle. I'm a high performer who also strives to strike the right balance between work and family.
