This includes where the data is stored in-house and the cloud.Worked with developers to resolve an issue where an app would time-out trying to process data from a database. Starting with the query that was used, rewrote to use the database engine more effectively where the query no longer timed out.A client wanted to have database backups stored off-site for long time storage and wanted to keep the file size down for quicker transfer. Created a script to back up the databases, compress the files and send the files to the offsite location at a time when the servers were not under load.A server crashed a few times, causing customers to complain that their information was not available. Found that an app, which needed to constantly be running had a memory leak that was causing the server to crash. Created a script to monitor the apps memory usage to restart the process when too much is used. Customer's stopped complaining and their data was safe.Recommended and moved network operations to grow more easily with business needs. Created scripts to monitor cloud systems better freeing up time.
