I am a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with a strong academic background and hands-on experience in robotics and automation. I recently completed my master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Robotics track at FIU, where I excelled academically and was in charge of two senior design groups tasked with completing their final projects. As the team leader, I provided guidance, coordinated efforts, collaborated, and ensured the successful execution of the projects, resulting in exceptional outcomes.Leading these teams was build upon the foundation developed during my undergraduate career where I had the privilege of serving as the captain of the Sailing team. Demostrating strong leadership skills and learned how to effectively guide and inspire a team towards success. In this role, I successfully led and guided the team to achieve outstanding results.Moreover, before pursuing my master's, I gained valuable industry experience through three internships at Eastern Engineering Group. These opportunities allowed me to develop proficiency in working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines. I honed my CAD skills and successfully led a research project, which later required me to teach and share my knowledge with others.Throughout my graduate education, I have been actively engaged as a research assistant at FIU, focusing on machine learning applications in various sectors. Initially, I contributed to projects related to structural health monitoring, resulting in the publication of several papers. More recently, I have been involved in using machine learning for autonomous driving and object detection. Notably, I led two undergraduate senior design teams in the development of an Autonomous Asphalt Laying Machine, where my responsibilities included overseeing autonomous driving functionalities.My technical skills encompass programming languages such as C++, Python, and MATLAB. I am well-versed in working with microcomputers, microcontrollers, and sensors, including RaspberryPi, Arduino Mega, Jetson Nano, Roboclaw2x45A, Ti CC3200, Lidar, Realsense D455, and encoders.
