Dale is a Director of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd and serves as an Alternate Governor of the NHL and NBA. From 2019-2022, Dale served as Chair of the Board of Governors of the CFL and currently serves as the Governor representing the Toronto Argonauts. Dale is a Director and former Chair of Baycrest Health Sciences and a Honorary Trustee of the Hospital for Sick Children. He has extensive experience on corporate boards, and currently sits on the Board of Directors of RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust and Roots Corporation.Dale is a distinguished Member of the Order of Canada and the Order of Ontario, recognized for his contributions to leadership, philanthropy, and public service. He has been appointed Honorary Captain of the Royal Canadian Navy by the Minister of National Defence and has received the prestigious rank of Honorary Chief of Police from the Toronto Police Service. Dale has been awarded the title of Honorary Big by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Toronto and has also been listed among Toronto Life's “50 Most Influential People.” He is a recipient of Canada’s “Top 40 Under 40” and the “Best of the Best” Canadian Leadership Award.
