I'm currently serving as a strategic advisor to the CEO of Motivhealth, a carrier and TPA specializing in HSA, level-funded and Self-Funded ASO commercial group products, exploring opportunities for cost containment and risk management. Prior to this, I completed service in a volunteer leadership position in my Church from 2021-2024 overseeing 100+ young people living and serving in Mexico City. Prior to this, I served as Head of Network and Cost Management Strategy at Meritain Health an Aetna/CVS company. My responsibilities at Meritain included managing all PPO in-network and out-of-network strategies, relationships, cost and risk management and contracts. I also oversaw strategic relations and contracting with specialty vendors and networks involved in cost management efforts. I was also President of Precision Benefit Services, a cost management company specializing in reducing claims costs for its clients. Prior to accepting these positions, I served as senior vice president of the western division and senior vice president for underwriting and stop loss administration for Meritain Health and CBSA PERFORMAX. I was also vice president of Intermountain Benefit Administrators prior to the company's merger with PERFORMAX, giving me more than twenty years of experience in business and health benefits.Before my experience in the health insurance industry, I was founder and president of Global Research and Consulting, which provided international business management and investment consulting for clients in the European, Latin American, and Near East Asian markets.I received my Bachelor of Arts in political science and my master’s in international relations from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
