Responsible for network strategy, cost management and market activation for Meritain Health, an Aetna/CVS company. Led all PPO and non-PPO network strategies including hospital vertical and other segments, relationships and contracts. Involved directly in local and national market activation and sales of Meritain's network and cost management strategies and capabilities. Oversaw strategic relations and contracting with specialty vendors and networks. Led all Meritain cost management efforts and Payment Integrity Program. Most recent year achieved $785 million in savings for plan sponsors resulting in a savings of $102.29 per employee per month (PEPM) beyond standard network discounts.

Started and led a new company that specialized in reducing medical costs for clients and reducing risk and liability for plan sponsors and covered lives. Surpassed $2 million in revenue within the first two years and later achieved triple digit revenues with very high margins. Recent capture rate of 88% on OON claims with average discount exceeding 54%.

Responsible for client retention of group health insurance clients and oversight of account management and servicing staff. Worked with leadership in the acquisition of multiple companies including nine TPA's, two PPO's and one medical management company and in the sale of Meritain to Aetna.

Managed all stop loss claims and filings for over 1,700 group health plans. Managed relations with over 25 stop loss carriers on catastrophic and high dollar claims.

Managed Stop Loss quoting and fulfillment process for clients located in the western half of the United States. Created a new Underwriting Department in the western region. Maintained and improved relations and contracts with over 25 reinsurance stop loss carriers. Performax was acquired by Prodigy Group/Meritain Health.
