I am an enthusiastic Regulatory Affairs Officer currently working on the post-market surveillance of medical devices with Health Canada. Specifically, my work supports the delivery of a national program that ensures medical devices licensed for sale continue to be safe and effective for Canadians. I have been working in the federal public service since 2021 and the medical devices field since 2018. My educational background includes a B.Sc Degree in Biology from the University of Prince Edward Island and an Ontario College Graduate Certificate in Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs from Seneca Polytechnic. Through my experience and educational training, I have developed strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills that make me well-equipped for my work in scientific regulation. I am passionate about ensuring the health and safety of the public through policy and program evaluation, health product surveillance, and international collaboration. I am also a dedicated advocate for young professionals in the public service and volunteer as a Project Coordinator with the Health Canada and Public Health Agency of Canada Young Professionals Network. Outside of work, I enjoy playing volleyball, travelling, and exploring all the great food spots and activities around the National Capital Region!
