The many opportunities that have formed my career have facilitated the growth and development of skills across a wide range of industries, most specifically in the ICT, Not-for-Profit, Financial Services and FMCG industries. I am CEO/Director of several ICT (education and corporate) and FMCG companies providing technology and business management consulting in the New Zealand context.I spent six years in an integral role in the management, architecture and design of Cloud/Online and secure hosted services for Telecom (now Spark) New Zealand’s Service Delivery Platform (SDP). This pivotal role involved delivery, programme and project management, stakeholder and vendor management, and architectural oversight of these services. For the nine years before arriving in New Zealand, I owned and managed a group of four companies (ICT Services Consultancy, Software and Hardware Manufacture, Internet Service Provider, and Financial Services) growing it from a one-man operation into a thriving business. In addition to being the principal consultant working country-wide with C-level executives, I personally developed most of the group level functions into self-sustaining departments.I am an operationally aware strategist with proven entrepreneurial business acumen who thrives in working with high-performance teams across operational boundaries and silos. My business experience and complimentary technical background giving me the natural ability to translate an organisation’s strategy into technical terms and vice versa.
