About Dale Grant
Web Strategist & Developer and owner of code&. My first venture into web coding was setting up whenitsgoneitsgone.net to sell an Ejector Seat Office Chair. After building the site up from nothing to over 2,000 visits in a day and press coverage, the site became a success and I moved more and more into design and development, and then into SEO and online business development.Starting as a junior in a local agency I worked my way to Lead Web Developer within the company, working on a plethora of client requests and site builds for clients ranging from beauty pageants and artists to video specialists and software houses.I went on to own and operate thetallone Web Design. At 6'5" I have always been known as "the tall one"; as we aimed to help businesses stand out from the crowd it was a fitting moniker.After co-founding emble, a collaborative app for planning events with your friends, and then emigrating to Australia, I set up code& in partnership, merging thetallone in the process. We currently work with clients on 3 continents designing and developing successful websites and apps, with a strong focus on data driven conversion optimisation.
