The larger part of my career has been focused on system engineering, design and architecture. The value that companies I have worked for recognize comes from my understanding of advanced physics, mathematics, and engineering. While my formal education is in computers and electrical engineering, I have done mechanical design, optics, analog design, digital design, written embedded firmware and integrated these unique disciplines. Products that I have helped created include in vitro diagnostic instruments, electro-cautery systems, analytical laboratory instruments, electronic laboratory balances, and other therapeutic devices. I have utilized unique technology like custom sensors, voice coils and holograms to provide less traditional solutions to Quest’s customers. I am the out-of-the box thinker at Quest providing “a different approach” to solve a problem.
