CurrentDale Stockstill & Associates, is a Professional Land Surveying Company, conveniently located near Interstate 59 outside of Picayune, Mississippi. DS&A's initial focus was the oil and gas industry working for Shell, Texaco, Chevron, United Gas Pipeline Company, Koch, Boardwalk Pipeline and others. Billy Alan Chavers, RLS purchased the corporation in July of 1998, after working for the company for over ten years. After taking control, Mr.Chavers expanded the client base and range of services that DS&A provides: Precise GPS Control, Topographic Surveys, Monument Locations, Deed Research, Boundary Determinations, Right of Way Plats, Centerline Staking, Mapping, Alignment Plan and Profile Sheets, Fee Tract Plats, Laser Scanning, Point Cloud Registration and analysis, 3D Modeling, etc. DS&A has successfully provided a wide variety of surveying services to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg & New Orleans Districts, South Mississippi Electric Power Association, Entergy, Mississippi Power, US Forest Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture, many large Architectural and Engineering Firms, various Municipalities, and countless private clients. The addition of our Topcon GLS1000 High Definition Laser Scanner and the various Point Cloud Software programs owned by the firm keep DS&A at the cutting edge of the Surveying profession. Our Point Cloud experience and processing software also enables DS&A Technicians to work with LiDAR pointclouds providing clients with a technical competence usually only found in much larger firms. Dale Stockstill is a graduated 8(a) HubZone firm currently certified to be a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) by the Louisiana Department of Transportation (LDOT) and the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT).
