Deliver decisive organizational leadership for the overall program and administration of the Wake Soil and Water Conservation District. Management of Wake Soil and Water Conservation Department of Wake County Government. Responsible for the implementation of WSWCD Board of Supervisors strategic goals, as well as alignment of District goals with the Wake County Board of Commissioners work goals.Engage executive leadership in administration of long-range goals, annual plan of operations, personnel supervision (5 county employees), budget oversight, and coordination of programs with all partnering agencies (local, state, federal, NGOs). Cross-functional expertise used to manage Board of Supervisors duties and daily office operations. Lead agency for successful collaboration of agricultural partnerships in Wake County. Exhibit exceptional public relations and community outreach skills; forge public and private partnerships; handle policy development in cooperation with county management; accept lead role in special events; generate annual and quarterly status reports.

Provided technical service to improve water quality and to protect the natural resources and watersheds.Assessed resource concerns through inventory and evaluation; provided engineering and/or agronomic recommendations; assisted with contractual support; designed and surveyed the site; recorded and applied best management practices; evaluated results.
