I like working at the heart of complex change within operations, product packaging, delivery, and brand development. I enjoy roles that require strong but supportive leadership, collaborative problem solving, and a resolute focus on sustainable results. I have a proven track record of driving long-term strategic planning as well as leading the product development function. I’ve held leadership positions in operations, product development, packaging and engineering for over 20 years and in that time I have got to work with some of the most extraordinary and brilliant people on some transformational and global projects. During my career I have owned packaging holistically through every touchpoint from raw materials, Manufacturing, Brand creation, Operations, fulfillment, logistics and cold chain through to the customers experience and various recycle, reuse implementations. All these learnings come together in my current role:As VP Packaging and Engineering I own all aspects of the holistic packaging portfolio.As we grow I am focused on developing a cohesive packaging strategy, a part of which is driving innovation within a fully validated and costed packaging pantry which can be deployed across acquisitions such as Blue Apron, Marley Spoon, Bistro MD and clients like Kroger, Wonder and Walmart.

Lead Product EngineerArnell Group Aug 2006 - Mar 2010UsIn my time here I served as the liaison between the company Chairman, creative directors, designers, and clients in order to identify new product opportunities, conduct feasibility research and studies, and lead product innovation and development. I was a key contributor to the team that collaborated on Pepsi’s global re-brand, including PET bottle design and engineering, and Tropicana’s half orange cap. I also developed the product and supply chain for an FDA compliant material for the Johnson & Johnson chewable toothbrush. -
Prototype EngineerSmart Design Jul 2003 - Jul 2006Brooklyn, New York, UsParticipated in the design, engineering and manufacture of home maintenance and kitchen tools for OXO good grips. Notably as part of the R&D team which developed the process for bonding silicone rubber onto Stainless steel and subsequently developed the silicone sink strainer and silicone spatulas. -
EngineerUniversal Target Systems Feb 2001 - Jun 2003As part of a four person team we developed three multi-role drone aircraft. They were built in-house from a complex laminate of Kevlar and carbon fiber. We demonstrated the technology in Karachi Pakistan during a 4 weeks long war game which included the Pakistani army and navy.
