I began offering publication services including consulting, design and computer graphic work in 1995 and a year later incorporated as PageMaster Publication Services Inc. The vision was to offer a suite of services to publishers, similar to an ad agencies offerings for marketing. Our task at PageMaster can be described as "polishing, reproducing and sharing your work." We partner with authors, artists, publishers and associations helping them produce high-quality, appropriate publications. Witnessing, and part of, the independent publishing boom, I have seen much opportunity and also abuse. Our goal at PageMaster is to provide feedback and critique while giving creators opportunity to share their work while having fun and earning a return. My role is increasingly in marketing and this seems to be the greatest current need in independent publishing.
