Hired as In-Service Supply Manager, leading AJAX service delivery. Role evolved into Demand Fulfilment Manager, removing inventory responsibility and adding new client spares demand / repair management. As Demand Fulfilment Manager, accountable for leading the complete implementation and management of infrastructure, processes and procedures for the start-up, transition to, and sustainable in-service operations, to enable the first vehicle delivery to the customer, MoD. Key Contributions:- Succeeded in leading the end-to-end delivery of a business-critical site relocation project from Shropshire to South Wales, which involved recruiting and training a new team, whilst ensuring consistent delivery of contract commitments to the MoD. - Played a pivotal role in designing, scoping, writing and implementing robust departmental and business-wide operational, logistics and supply processes and procedures to enable delivery of services to MoD. - Instrumental in developing the company’s ERP system in collaboration with IT and specialist contractors, to support warehouse and operational requirements, which included implementing reporting and managing key inventory areas such as shelf-life items and in-storage maintenance needs. - Led the successful design, development and implementation of a Validation and Return to Vendor process to reduce the organisation’s exposure to financial loss and customer dissatisfaction, and deliver a cost avoidance of over £1M within just 6 months. - Drove notable service improvements, including increasing military aftermarket delivery performance from circa 55% to 89% in 8 months and reducing repairs arrears by 90% in 12 months. -

Appointed as Operations, Training & Compliance Manager to co-manage the end-to-end establishment of a new operations and logistics facility prior to its first spares delivery to the MoD. My role was to review and interpret relevant Defence and Quality Standards to develop, document and implement robust processes required to manage a new business and multi-platform MoD contracts.Key Contributions:- Instrumental in establishing the new operations and logistics facility within just 6 weeks to support a new, critical vehicle deployment under Urgent Operational Requirements to Afghanistan and Iraq, with the spares support to new service vehicle, regarded as the most successful new MoD product launch. - Succeeded in achieving and maintaining 99% On-Time and In-Full (OTIF) delivery performance of approximately 400,000 items, with a consistent 100% inventory accuracy record. - Achieved ISO 9001 accreditation and a 100% pass rate on ISO and Government Quality and Assurance Representative (GQAR) audits with zero observations. - Led end-to-end development and implementation of an ERP system to enable effective management of items with special characteristics, by setting up and reporting on alerts for critical changes made in the live system, leading to increased efficiency and accuracy, elimination of product mis-labelling and invoicing errors, and reduction in obsolescence costs. - Supported new business tenders for customers by writing Spares Management and Packing, Handling, Storage and Transport (PHS&T) Plans for a high-value, new business area to supply to the RAF. Plans were subsequently recognised as outstanding by the Tenderer and endorsed by the Government Quality Assurance Representative (GQAR). - Consistently delivered outstanding levels of customer excellence, being recognised by the MoD as a Best in Class Supplier. -
Supply Chain ManagerOne Stop Jan 2010 - Feb 2011One Stop is a retail convenience business with over 1000 stores, and a commitment on being the best store for customers. It is a subsidiary of Tesco and employs over 10,600 staff across its stores. As Supply Chain Manager, I was accountable for the accurate forecasting, replenishment and timely supply of over 2,500 ambient products (25M product units per annum) to all stores.
