• Rape Prevention Education(RPE) Program Coordinator – administer California Department of Public Health grant at three high schools and two middle schools; adapt and develop curriculum for Rape Prevention Education in middle schools; facilitated weekly groups for young women; created curriculum for a summer youth leadership program and a youth leadership program that runs during the school year; facilitate and create curriculum for student council group - a policy based approach to prevention. Create community partnerships and connections for RPE Program and child abuse prevention. Assure compliance with grant objectives and strengthen evaluation methods. Create data collection methods for program evaluation. Analyze and report on program efficiency and progress. • Rape and Violence Prevention Community Education: Provide interactive presentations on rape/violence prevention, sexual harassment, healthy relationships/ Teen Dating Violence, child abuse prevention, internet safety and more to western Riverside county’s elementary, middle and high schools, college and universities in English and Spanish. Run Women Self-Defense classes for women 12 and up, and Kid Power Self-Defense classes for children 11 and under in English and Spanish. • Direct Services: Share duties on the 24-hour hotline with other staff; provide services in English or Spanish including in-person counseling, court and hospital accompaniment and advocacy. Organize Sexual Assault Response Team Training for Law-Enforcement. • Event Planning: Plan, Coordinate, and collaborate with the community Sexual Assault Awareness Month Events to bring Sexual Assault awareness to Western Riverside County.
