It’s my pleasure to be the current chairman of this dynamic branch with its 2800+ great members (at Oct 2022), focused on helping to make IT good for society.We invite speakers from numerous aspects of computing and related industries who generously share their insight and time. Talks may range from IT management to projects, and from security to emerging technology. Whatever the topic, we try to provide informative and entertaining events and activities, and encourage audience participation and knowledge-sharing.We are part of the BCS London branches 3 community (London Central, North and South branches), collaborating with other BCS groups and external organisations.

Member or leader of judging team at prestigious annual BCS & Computing UK IT Industry Awards for Excellence.

Making use of experience as Chairman of the dynamic BCS North London Branch, gave presentations on various topics at BCS UK member group events in London (many groups) as far north as Edinburgh, at Bedford, Birmingham, Brighton, Canterbury, Liverpool, Manchester, Nottingham, Oxford, Sheffield, Swindon, Worcester, as far south as Jersey.

Focused on helping to make IT good for society, and on encouraging people interested in IT, showcased expertise in IT skills, products, processes, environments and services.Planned, directed and delivered BCS North London Branch events and activities on IT-related topics, featuring quality speakers and venues, for members of BCS and others - "everyone welcome".

Strategic planning, coordination and delivery of events and related activities for BCS ELITE (Effective Leadership in Information Technology) Group.Also spoke at EuroCIO conferences in Spain and Germany, representing BCS ELITE.

Making use of experience as Events Director of London Chapter, spoke at ISACA international conferences in Scotland, Poland, Italy (twice) and Bulgaria (3 times). Well-received keynote presentation topics included 21st century Risk, Assurance, Governance, Security, Diversity, Ethics and Soft Skills. Also spoke at EuroCIO conferences in Spain and Germany, representing BCS ELITE.
