Engineering Leader
CurrentAt our global company headquartered in Europe (Spain) with additional centers in India, China, and the Middle East, we spearhead projects in Upstream, Downstream, Circular Economy, and Transition Energy sectors.As part of NOVARGI's Indian branch, we primarily focus on engineering and project management activities for the entire group. In my role here, I lead the Piping Engineering department, overseeing design activities and ensuring their successful execution. Key responsibilities include:-Directing the Piping Engineering department, ensuring the quality and efficiency of design processes.-Personally developing critical designs while mentoring less experienced team members.-Coordinating Senior and Junior Piping Designers, Piping Stress Engineers, and the 3D Administrator internally.-Implementing project specifications, standards, and international codes for design compliance.-Collaborating with other engineering disciplines within NOVARGI's Indian branch and headquarters to optimize project solutions and resolve any interface issues.-Supervising externally outsourced engineering tasks as needed.-Participating in and sometimes leading engineering meetings with both internal teams and clients.-Supporting other company departments (such as Procurement and Projects) in relevant activities, including reviewing vendor offers and technical documentation.-In essence, my role involves driving excellence in piping engineering while fostering collaboration across departments to deliver top-notch solutions for our global projects.
