Dray Design Group is an Architectural and Interior Design Consulting Firm specializing in High end residential and retail boutique store designs. Our services range from Schematic Design Concepts to a Full Turn-key completed project; as well as drafting services for development of custom furniture and millwork drawings.

Managed the successful completion of all projects, including several award winning, high end residential projects ranging from 1,500 to 7,000 square feet. Supervised the production department with 5 team members and functioned as office manager as needed. Responsible for the development of construction document drawings from Pre-Design thru Construction documents, custom millwork drawings and custom furniture designs. Analyzed and approved millwork shop drawings from outside vendors. In charge of quality control, site coordination with contractors, and adherence to all specifications. Developed company policies and procedures, as well as extensive CAD library. Compiled and submitted project design material for various design competitions. Coordinated IT troubleshooting and determined corporate IT needs.▬ Led and managed renovation of multi-million dollar South Florida homes resulting in 9 ASID Excellence awards.▬ Realized significant cost savings for residential project▬ Regularly coordinated multiple residential projects simultaneously.

Developed or assisted in the development of construction documents for major retail projects, with a focus on the auto industry. Participated in project management of several “big box” retailers and boutique stores. Coordinated national project designs to the standards of several internationally recognized corporations. Responsible for the coordination and construction administration of high profile corporations. ▬ Developed construction documents and interactive design CD package for General Motors and coordination with GM throughout the design and construction of the first Hummer dealership prototype built in Milwaukee, WI and later became the standard for all dealerships..▬ Developed and managed construction project for standalone Harley Davidson Dealership in Pompano, FL.▬ Assisted in developing construction document drawing package and coordination for Daytona Automall in Daytona Beach, FL.▬ Successfully managed and completed complex construction project at the Japanese Pavilion Epcot Center in Disneyworld, while coordinating PDT, Japan and Disneys strict standards.

Successfully transitioned from paid intern to full time Project Manager within several months at this prestigious Miami full service architectural firm. Contributed directly to several major commercial and educational facilities projects. Developed or assisted in the development of construction documents while being exposed to all facets of the company’s activity. ▬ Participated in Terminal D, E, & F renovation project at Miami International Airport▬ Developed construction documents for the addition of a new classroom facility at J.P. Taravella High School in Coral Springs, FL. Prepared renderings and presentation documents for Broward School Board approval.
