About Daljit Banga

As the Operations Director for India and ASEAN at Foseco, a leading foundry solutions provider and a division of Vesuvius, I am responsible for developing and implementing a sound operations strategy that covers all aspects of safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people for multi-plant operations in India & ASEAN region, enabling revenue growth and improving profitability. I have over 25 years of experience in leading Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sourcing, HSE, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering teams in diverse industries, such as healthcare, engineering, and chemicals. Adept at leveraging Lean toolkit, operational excellence, Six Sigma, EHS, and talent development, I have improved all-round Operational performance while enabling revenue growth.In the past, have successfully led greenfield factory establishment, building teams and processes from scratch, and enterprise transformation as a Brilliant Factory leader for GE Pune, one of the seven factories chosen from 500 GE factories around the world, utilising Lean and digital tools. I have also received multiple awards for Operational excellence, Project Management and driving cost reduction. I am passionate about delivering value to customers, driving continuous improvement, and developing talent. Have championed and launched initiatives like Kaizen Factory to improve operator participation in continuous improvement, that have become a global best practice.
