I worked with teams of between 6-13 people. We did everything that it takes to keep highways and freeways in drive-able condition. We cut concrete. We filled the joints in the concrete with hot tar. I advanced from temporary manual laborer to full-time machine operator in sic months. I learned a lot of leadership skills as well as how to work with small groups. I was in an accident at this job that afforded me the opportunity to go back to college and pursue a degree in applied science.
