As Geomatics Team Leader, Dallas oversees and guides the geomatics,subsurface utility investigation, GIS and unmanned aerial systems divisionswithin the company. He is actively involved with research, development andimplementation of new technologies within the geomatics groups. He hasdeveloped a variety of information management tools and workflows forproject management and data retrieval that have been implemented firmwide.Dallas is an excellent communicator and brings extensive geospatialexperience to the company.

As Surveying Services Manager, Dallas oversees the daily administrative and technical activities associated with the Surveying and Mapping Division. He has extensive experience with custom mapping projections and coordinate systems, boundary retracement surveys, ALTA / NSPS Land Title surveys, FEMA flood studies, route surveying, topographic surveys, geodetic survey control and construction staking. He has developed and implemented various workflows for UAV data capture, photogrammetric scanning, point cloud / mesh model production, and 3D data extraction from point cloud datasets for his surveying projects. Dallas is innovative in his approach to surveying. He is skilled at adapting current survey methodologies and developing new surveying strategies to meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Oversight of all daily administrative / technical activities and services associated with the operation of a land surveying business. The last three years were in partnership with Robertson Land Surveying, Inc. running six field crews with projects including boundary and mortgage surveys, construction layout, subdivision design and layout, ALTA / ACSM Land Title surveys, FEMA flood studies, route surveys, percolation testing and septic system design. We routinely coordinated property subdivisions and development with city and county planning boards.

Surveying Instructor at Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama in the Building Sciences and Engineering programs. Courses include CSM 345 - Elementary Surveying, CSM 346 - Surveying and Layouts, and CSM 352 - Construction Safety.

Responsible for supervision of projects including construction layout, GPS control surveys, subdivision layout and design, boundary surveys, mortgage surveys, route surveys. Completed the 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training certification and performed several large scale site surveys on hazardous material sites. Drafted plats for signature by the registered surveyor.

Surveying Lab Instructor in Auburn University's Building Science Department and Engineering Department. Courses include the labs for BSC Construction Surveying and CE 400 - Advanced Engineering Surveying.

Worked as a field crew member and advanced to instrument operator. Learned basic surveying skills.

Completed fieldwork for surveys and drafted plats for final signature by architect / surveyor. Drafted as-built plats for architecture projects and survey plats.
