14 machine custom injection molding operation which includes Secondary Value-add operations. Directly supervise 2 QC Inspectors and personally perform all QE functions as well as manage the ISO 9001:2015 certified QMS. Am presently moving the QMS to a full digital system.

Traveled between 4 manufacturing locations (US). Planned & executed numerous capital improvement projects simultaneously within those operations.

With a team of 8 direct reports and numerous indirect reports, directed the Engineering, Technology, and Program Management for the Americas - Consumer-Electronic & Automotive Market Segment. This comprised 6 manufacturing plants throughout Mexico (4), Atlanta, Ga. and San Diego, CA.. Overall responsibilitis included technical support to the Region, as well as the development of plant resources in:♦ Program Management♦ New Product Introduction♦ New Plant facilities – planning, specification, financials, construction & operations start-up.♦ New Technology Development, transfer, start-up♦ Tooling Engineering♦ Capital Equipment justification & acquisition

General Manager of Dominican Republic Operations, operating 25 molding machines, and servicing healthcare customers.♦ Class 100k clean room molding operation operating at 24/7.♦ Approximately 120 employees. ♦ Gross sales of about US$8 million per year.♦ Full P&L responsibility - reported to VP of Latin America Operations.Started in the Dom Rep. in Oct. 1997 managing the plant build while working in Nypro Puerto Rico as Eng. Mgr., before accepting the GM job.♦ Developed the original business plan.♦ Directly supervised the facility design, plant build, leasehold improvements incl. a UPS System & generators, machine shutdown & transport from Puerto Rico, installation, customer mold transfer, production ramp-up, and then mass production.♦ Trained an entire workforce to work in molding operations; myself & 2 other ex-Pats were the only persons in the plant with prior clean room molding experience.♦ Plant startup included BPCS MRP system Class "B" user level.

In support of 5 manufacturing plants (70 molding machines), managed 3 Program Managers, 2 Tooling Engineers, and a mold build operation with about 25 personnel.♦ Personally managed a healthcare program at the plant level which required 10 molding machines, a stand-alone assembly operation, and generated $12MM gross sales annually.♦ Managed a $2MM developmental grant from the Puerto Rican Industrial Development Corporation, a branch of the PR government, to develop mold design & construction in Puerto Rico.♦ Organized the mold manufacturing team & business structure for this stand alone business.♦ By 1997, had developed $10MM in gross sales from Engineering projects and Mold build business.

Re-located to Puerto Rico with a promotion to Plant Manager, reporting to the local V.P. of Operations. Expanded the clean room by 250%, and increased capacity from 6 to 15 injection molding machines plus all new facility infrastructure. Installed a Class 100k cleanroom to support 100% healthcare customers. The operation molded $7mm - $8MM annually with a lean, total headcount of about 55-60 employees.

Began plastics career here, having initially been hired on as a Material Handler. Over 7 years, progressed from material handler/ mechanics assistant to Quality Control Inspector, Quality Control Technician, Shift Supervisor, and finally to Plant Process Engineer.
